Are you an open book? What story/stories are you yearning to tell? Delve into the art of the book and take a deep dive into the work of Tony Degradi, a 2019 Louisiana Contemporary artist. This workshop will guide you through constructing a layered, low-relief book-based sculptural tableau using old books and collage materials.
Each session begins with a visual assessment of the artworks and a brief guided meditation. It is our hope that these moments of concentration and quiet mindfulness will enhance your artistic experience. As always, materials are provided but feel free to bring source materials or supplies that might enhance your creative narrative.
