Artist Workshop: Watercolor Landscape with Diego Larguia

Join teaching artist Diego Larguia to explore watercolor painting in this artist workshop. The workshop is inspired by a selection of 19th century landscapes from the permanent collection. The day begins with a brief discussion of the landscape gallery in Knowing Who We Are: A 20th Anniversary Exhibition, followed by an artist demonstration of drawing and watercolor techniques as applied to landscape painting. For the remainder of the workshop, participants will produce their own watercolor landscape using a piece from the collection as a reference.
All workshops are conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment.
All materials are provided.
$45 member/ $50 non-member
All workshops take place Saturdays 10am – 1pm central time.
