What does the future of fashion look like? Join fashion designer Samar Malek in an engaging fashion program focused on sustainability.

Drawing inspiration from the artwork on view, students transform exhibition themes into a dynamic collection of their own. Each morning, students focus on designing a one-of-a-kind outfit for an end-of-program Fashion Show, while afternoons include movement and runway planning. Throughout the two-week program, participants learn sewing and design skills that include re-use, repurpose and “greener” ways to dress, while also honoring diverse bodies and aesthetics.

Fashion Institute culminates in a fun and sustainable Fashion Show that highlights the students’ design process and showcases their outfits in both action and function.

Students should come to camp each day with a water bottle, snack, lunch and an extra layer.
