Grad Student Gatherings
This new series, tailored specifically for graduate students in Arts Administration and Museum Studies, aims to connect young professionals in the museum and non-profit fields from across the Greater New Orleans area. Join us and explore topics such as: What is involved in running a Museum? Who decides what exhibitions are presented? What makes the Ogden Museum of Southern Art different from other museums? Planned on select Thursdays, each Grad Student Gathering will include a tour of the Museum followed by an engaging round-table discussion. Participants are then invited to stay for Ogden After Hours, the weekly entertainment series showcasing Southern musicians with food, drinks and access to the galleries (FREE admission to OAH for all attendees). This Grad School Gathering will focus on educational programming and explore how a Museum caters to young audiences. Join us for a tour of current exhibitions followed by a round-table discussion.
