Aspiring photographers of all levels are invited to join teaching artist Leah Floyd for a hands-on program designed to develop the skills needed to capture and construct powerful photographs. Campers will engage in group activities as well as receive individual instruction as they learn the basic elements of photography such as composition, exposure and the functions of their camera. The young photographers will then focus on visual storytelling/documentary techniques, portraiture and experiment with photo collage. At the conclusion of the program, campers will leave with a portfolio of edited images and a selection of their work will be exhibited during Ogden’s White Linen Night. Photography campers may use any type of digital camera (including phone cameras).

All campers and camp staff are required to provide proof of at least two doses of an approved COVID vaccine by the first day of camp. We will accept original vaccine cards, the LA Wallet app or high-resolution photos of both sides of a vaccine card as proof of vaccination.

  • All campers and camp staff are required to wear masks at all times (except during lunch and snack time).
  • Campers are asked to provide their own mask.

*As information changes, we will update our policies here. We follow state and city mandates and guidelines to keep all participants as safe as possible during this time.
