Discover a new way of seeing and explore digital photography in a fun and exciting summer Photography Camp at Ogden Museum. Campers learn the basic elements of photography such as composition, exposure, lighting and the functions of the camera while creating meaningful and thought-provoking work. Campers explore elements of photography such as storytelling, portraiture, and documentary through daily field trips to area arts institutions. Back in the classroom campers practice critique and build a portfolio of work.
To close out the week-long program, students select work to showcase in a student-curated exhibition opening on White Linen Night at Ogden Museum.
Campers are encouraged to bring their own digital camera or phone camera. A limited number of digital cameras are available for campers to use at the Museum.
