Collage!
Day two offers an opportunity to look closely at a familiar childhood story and some striking photographs. Artists will observe, sketch and discuss photographs by RaMell Ross and his use of gesture inspired by the artist and author Shell Silverstein. A deeper dive into the ideas of surrealism and gesture will be explored through drawing techniques and a photo collage. In addition, each day artists will have time to work on a playful holiday inspired craft project that can be gifted.
This is a full day event, so please bring a snack, water and lunch.
