Fireworks & Fragments: A New Year’s Collage Blast

for Grades 2 - 5

9AM to 3PM

This winter break, give your child the gift of artistic exploration and a playful creative outlet. Join Myron Solomon, Museum Educator, and Ogden Teen Interns for 2 days of joyful arts and crafts projects —all inspired by bright colors, collage and Ogden Museum’s current exhibitions. Expect 1 -2  craft projects per day to take home.

This is a full day event, please bring a snack, water and lunch each day.

$50 member/ $55 non - member

Teaching Artist Bio: 

Myron Solomon, Jr. is an interdisciplinary visual artist from New Orleans. A Dillard University BFA and School of Visual Arts MFA graduate, his work pushes beyond traditional New Orleans art while honoring its cultural roots. Exploring existential themes, Myron uses hyperbole to evoke introspection in his audience. His passion for the arts extends to education, where he shares his knowledge with youth, aiming to inspire the same transformative experiences that shaped his own journey.
