Adult Art Class: Session I

5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join Museum Educator Myron Solomon, Jr., for a four-week journey into painting and crafts inspired by Louisiana Contemporary 2025 Presented by The Helis Foundation.
During the class, students will create original work influenced by the themes and techniques explored in the exhibition. Through sketching, layering shapes, and adding painted details, participants will bring their ideas to life, ending in a finished relief portrait. By choosing fabrics, cutting patterns, and arranging layered designs, they will bring their ideas to life, ending in a finished textile collage.
